"Gator Laugh"

This could have used more tweaking,
but freelance work calls.

"The Cliff Jumper" Painting 12

For this piece I had several ideas of
characters jumping across, but this guy
worked the best. It looked way better
than the jumping tomato. :)

"Werewolf with a Tie", Painting 11

He's a mutt werewolf.
All dressed-up and ready for a midnight walk.

"Snow Brush" Painting 10

I love painting snow scenes.
Took me a long time before I felt I could create one.
The Brush here is a character that has made
many appearances in my sketchbook.
What's he doing in a snowstorm is beyond me. :)

"Ernie In the Snow" Painting 9

Here's Ernie just standing outside

in the snow. A bit silly, but I like it.
Actually I almost didn't post this
one, but what the heck.

"Metamorphosis", Painting 8

For today just a melting watery sofa chair.

"Broc" Painting 7

Who doesn't like Broccoli?

To me they look like little trees.

Had to try a pink and blue sky for this one.

"Funny Car" Painting 6

I like painting these funny looking cars.
For this one I was really interested in just capturing
his personality not a real depiction of the car.

"Fragile", Painting 5

Got this concept after seeing a box on
the sidewalk early yesterday morning.
Sometimes ideas come in the strangest way.

"Mister Plant Jumps", Painting 4

Mister Plant makes another appearance.

Mister Plant, Painting 3

Wow, this one took longer to paint than I expected.
More simpler paintings for the next few.
"Mister Plant" is a wild driver and by the way
he's not a musician. ;)

"Looking for the Canvas", Painting 2

I started this one last night and I guess
I could've worked on it forever.:)
After I decided it was finished, I realized
maybe I could've added a canvas on the grass
like the title suggest. Naw, I like this better.

"The Glove", Painting 1

I love painting strange (Surreal) concepts.
Why, because they're more fun.
I'm going to try to do one every day for the next 30 days.
I should mention the challenge was created by

Fine Artist Leslie Saeta.

Also all paintings will be digital not on canvas.

Illustration Friday: Prize

Another Steampunk inspired character

for Illustration Friday. He got first place,

but I'm not sure for what.

Hot Air Ballooning... maybe.

Illustration Friday: Villain

So who's the Villain in the pic?
Is it the dog or the Bot. :)

Illustration Friday: Old

A very quick piece of art
for the word old. Nothing
fancy today just simple.

Illustration Friday: People

My inspiration for this was those moving portraits
from the Harry Potter films. I realized it's not exactly
the same, but it gave me the idea.

Illustration Friday: Grow

I was in hyper drawing mode last night.
I created two illustrations for the Illustration Friday

word "Grow", but I'm posting just one today.

I'm pretty sure folks will get the joke:).

Illustration Friday: Sharp

Summer reading for a Monster Dog.

Oh yeah, drew in some sharp fangs

just like his friend Sid.

Illustration Friday: Small

I realized after I did this I should
have drawn a Pug. There's one in my
neighborhood, she's a cutey.
