Dog Label

Besides Illustration, I really love creating Graphic Designs.
I did this Dog Food label as a challenge to a contest by
Jeff Andrews at SFG.
Guess what? 2 fellow Illustrators and I won! Ain't it cool.
Winners will be receiving an autographed new book by Warren Dotz.
Please take a minute and check out Mr. Dotz's work here.

The word was "Survival.

Survival The Sketch

Posting this really rough sketch for Illustration Friday.
This week's word is "Survival". I hear it's not a really smart

thing to run away from a bear, but personally I'm a runner.
Come back to see the final art on this one.

Want to learn how to survive a bear encounter?

New Steampunk Cover Sketch

For this week a Steampunk sketch for a kid's book cover.

It's just a mock-up, having fun making stuff up.

Final Art for Space Stories

So here's the final illustrated art for Space Stories.
Buy Prints here:)

Illustration Friday: Space

Lately I've been creating mock-ups for comic book covers.
I'll try to do a final on this sketch and post it here later this week.
It will probably have a limited palette. Also, in case your curious
what inspired this sketch, it was the 'Planet of Apes".
That's the one with Charlton Heston.
Isn't it weird how inspiration works! :)

Illustration Friday: Twisted

It's Monster Monday so why not sketch one.
Drooling allowed.

Illustration Friday: Prehistoric

In case you didn't know T-Rex love pizza.

"Bubble Gum Lion", New Print!

Here's a new print I just added to my Print On Wood shop.

Every month I'll post a new print concept. By the way,

as I write this I'm working on my Illustration Friday idea.

Will be just a sketch this week so stay tuned.

The Well-Read Cat.

Just submitted a few concept to Minted.
Please vote for my designs if you LIKE:)

Illustration Friday: Beginning

After I finished this I realized having him

sip out of a crazy straw would have been better.

Illustration Friday: Search

Little does he know another doggie got his stash.

Illustration Friday: Time

Happy New Year All!
Here's the new art I created for Illustration Friday.
As a kid I've always liked Mad Scientist and wacky machines.

So for this one I did a combo of both. Enjoy :)

On Stage

Happy Holidays to all.

Illustration Friday: Pattern

Looks like Ernie is losing his polka dots.
I wanted more of a graphic approach on this art so

I exaggerated his tie.
