Illustration Friday: Space

Lately I've been creating mock-ups for comic book covers.
I'll try to do a final on this sketch and post it here later this week.
It will probably have a limited palette. Also, in case your curious
what inspired this sketch, it was the 'Planet of Apes".
That's the one with Charlton Heston.
Isn't it weird how inspiration works! :)

Illustration Friday: Twisted

It's Monster Monday so why not sketch one.
Drooling allowed.

Illustration Friday: Prehistoric

In case you didn't know T-Rex love pizza.

"Bubble Gum Lion", New Print!

Here's a new print I just added to my Print On Wood shop.

Every month I'll post a new print concept. By the way,

as I write this I'm working on my Illustration Friday idea.

Will be just a sketch this week so stay tuned.

The Well-Read Cat.

Illustration Friday: Beginning

After I finished this I realized having him

sip out of a crazy straw would have been better.

Illustration Friday: Search

Little does he know another doggie got his stash.

Illustration Friday: Time

Happy New Year All!
Here's the new art I created for Illustration Friday.
As a kid I've always liked Mad Scientist and wacky machines.

So for this one I did a combo of both. Enjoy :)

On Stage

Happy Holidays to all.

Illustration Friday: Pattern

Looks like Ernie is losing his polka dots.
I wanted more of a graphic approach on this art so

I exaggerated his tie.

Illustration Friday: Shadow

I call this "Bobstache".

Illustration Friday: Tail

Ah, the little guy got caught.

Illustration Friday: Energy

Lots of energy going into that karate chop.

Illustration Friday: Creature

If you're familiar with the Addans Family than you know

"Cousin Itt" is the inspiration for these characters. I've updated

him a bit, so I hope those die-hard fans don't mind.

Here's a link to the old Addams Family show featuring Cousin Itt.

Illustration Friday: Moustache

Can you guess who he is?
Here's the answer.

Illustration Friday: Underwater

I'm pretty sure he's reading "Treasure Island".

Illustration Friday: ONOMATOPOEIA

Franky's electro's shoot a spark!

One of my favorite monsters to draw.

Illustration Friday: Togetther

For the romantics out there.
